Rajinikanth Wins Dadasaheb Phalke Award
Information & broadcasting Minister Shri Prakash Javedkar announced Dada Saheb Falke award will give to the Great Bollywood actor Rajinikanth. It is the most prestigious award in Indian Cinema that is given to his contribution to the Indian film Industry. The award is named after the father of Indian cinema Dhundiraj Govind Phalke (known as Dadasaheb Phalke) & it is one of the highest honors of artist in Indian cinema. The award comes in year when 70-year-old Rajinikanth spends 5 decades as an actor in Bollywood. The legend actor has worked many superhit films in five decades & entertained the audience with his acting. He started his career from the debut film Apoorva Raagangal (1975). After that, he has done so many superhit films in Tollywood and Bollywood.
