  1. Arun Jaitley was born on 28-11-1952 in Arun Maharaj Kishen Jaitley and Ratan Prabha Family at New Delhi. He married to Sangeeta Jaitley on May 1982 and had one daughter Sonali Jaitley and son Rohan Jaitley.
  2. From 1957–69, He studied at St. Xavier’s School, Delhi. In 1973, He had done graduation with an honours degree in commerce (B.Com) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi. From Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, he passed his LLB degree in 1977.
  3. In 1974, At Delhi University Campus, Jaitley was Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) student leader. In 1973 Raj Narain and Jayaprakash Narayan, launched movement against corruption and in that, Arun Jaitley was prominent leader. In 1977, when congress suffers defeat, Jaitley was appointed as president of All India Secretary ABVP and Delhi ABVP. In 1980, He was made president of youth wing of the BJP and Delhi Unit secretary.
  4. He loved Cricket and also served as DDCA president and BCCI vice president position before resigning in 2014.

On May 2014, Arun Jaitley had undergone a renal transplant at AIIMS along with Piyush Goyal, a Railways Minister. Since, April Last Year, Jaitley had stopped to attend the office and was come back in Finance Ministry on 23-08-2018. He gained weight, because of diabetic condition and for losing it he underwent bariatric surgery in September 2014.
